Shot on location in Edinburgh this architectural film short documents the The Ribbon Building. Part of the W Edinburgh hotel complex it rises as a 12-storey centerpiece in the newly redeveloped St James Quarter. Designed by Jestico + Whiles in collaboration with Allan Murray Architects, its form evokes a bundle of coiled ribbons, a deliberate nod to Edinburgh’s world-famous festival spirit and its reputation for performance, fashion, and cultural dynamism.

Lagland Street / Poole, Dorset
This residential development in central Poole, Dorset comprises 14 self-contained flats designed for long-term occupancy, featuring a modern material palette that complements the local architectural context. The façade combines traditional red facing brick with Diamond Zinc cladding in a blemished copper tone, creating a visually distinctive yet site-sensitive composition. Black aluminium window fittings provide a crisp, contemporary contrast, while the building’s scale and frontage respond appropriately to its urban surroundings.
